Becci’s first conventionally published collection of poetry, Octopus Medicine was published in September, 2017 by Two Rivers Press. It is three narrative poems, each with a slippery octopus protagonist, and considers themes of diversity, loneliness, anger, isolation, tolerance and respect for the natural world. It has been described as ‘utterly enthralling’ and ‘dynamic’ by Aoife Lyall in her review (Issue 66 of The Interpreter’s House Magazine’) and has also been reviewed by the SLA as a suitable resource for KS3 and KS4 students. You can purchase Octopus Medicine by contacting Becci directly through her Contacts page, or by visiting Two Rivers Press here.
