Becci’s second song is here! As explained in the video, this is part of a longer project that involves words both spoken and sung to ukulele (and hopefully, at some point, guitalele!) music. The project follows the story of a little girl who is badly bullied and so invents a space dragon to come and rescue her. You can find the song here, more pieces from this project will follow soon:

Becci is currently trying something new with her writing; putting her poetry to music! Having been learning the ukulele for nearly five months, she felt it was time to take the plunge, write a song and get it online. It turns out that, of this entire procedure, it was the video editing that triggered the most consternation, but it is here now: a poet’s first song! More pieces, both sung and spoken to music, will follow.
